Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

The killing of Christians is a tragedy. Amazingly, singer Nicki Minaj has been a major spokeswoman for targeted, displaced, burned-out, and murdered Christians in Nigeria. It is refreshing that someone has started to speak publicly about the Christian persecution in the world.

But as you will read in this Battle Cry, so many Christians are being persecuted around the world, that there needs to be more people speaking out against this one seemingly “permitted” persecution of fellow human beings.

They meet in secret, even in darkness, to worship their Saviour and try not to be discovered. Are we praying for them? The risks of arrest, torture, and being killed are great. And yet the church not only persists, it grows.

What are we doing back home? They risk their lives to go to church. We treat a drizzle as a sign from God not to go! We have got to get a better perspective.

As you read about these people far away, realize that many times their country was overcome because they didn’t get the gospel out when they had the chance.

Brothers and Sisters, we have that chance. We need to get gospel tracts out to everyone we can, and be willing to take a stand for Christ, while we are able. The world wants to destroy us. Let’s not make it easier for them by not getting gospel tracts out to the lost.

Let’s flood this country with tracts, planting those seeds and leaving the results to God.

We don’t want the persecution that Christians face in other countries today to become our future.

In Christ Jesus, and for His service, David W. Daniels
