Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

“I’ve got to show this to my brother!”

That was just one of the positive reactions I received at a local In-N-Out burger yesterday while handing out tracts to employees. I gave tracts away when I was handed the receipt, our food, and when I saw someone in between tasks. It was a blast! I kept a stack of Chick tracts in my hand, and so many people received them! One employee started reading it right when I gave it to him—and I suggested, “You might want to wait till your break.” He quickly put it in a pocket.

None of these great opportunities with young people would have been possible if my pockets weren’t stuffed full of Chick tracts.

The same is true when I spend time with my grandkids. They always ask for some “Bibles,” meaning Chick tracts. Neither one can read yet, but they love looking at them. The older one “reads” about Jesus out loud. After a few minutes, they ask for another. I am glad I have lots of different tracts with me and must make that a constant practice!

Do you want to have stories like this? Just stock up on a few titles of tracts and have them ready to hand out at a moment’s notice. You are planting seeds that will germinate. A number of people have written to me about how it wasn’t the first Chick tract that got them saved, but it was the seed that bore fruit, usually a few weeks or months later.
